Its been five years since the confrontation between the Volturi and the Cullens. The Cullen family now live peacefully in Forks and a lot has changed.
Not but a year ago, a strange young woman and a young child came to Forks in search of Alice Cullen. Alice had foresaw this but had no idea who they were. The news the young woman was about to reveal would change Alice's life forever.
The two were in fact long lost twins, after she was stolen away from her home when she was just a week old and was used to spy on her own twin by James, a tracker vampire who worked in an asylum where Alice was later sent because of her visions.
James used to beat the poor girl, leaving her as a human till after her seventeeth birthday when he raped her, unaware she would give birth to his child only months later. In order to save her, James had to turn Savan, dumping her and the baby with a vampire family and running away. So Savan and her child, Regina now live with the Cullens. However, she's not the only new addition…
Emmett and Rosalie split up a few years back and now Emmett looks forward to marrying his soulmate, Lauren Adams.
Alice and Jasper have adopted a little girl, Gabriella whom Aro gave them as a wedding gift. They raised her as their own child and watched her grow. Gabriella is now fifteen and has found love in a new student at Forks High.
Rosalie was quick to follow in their footsteps adopting her great niece, Sophia whom she found lurking around her old home in Rochester, New York.
Renesmee is doing well. She is growing into a fine young woman. But Bella and Edward are getting worried because Jacob and Nessie are becoming closer, very fast.
Carlisle and Esme are the same as always, all loved up and happy. They adore all the new additions to the family and are ready to fight it out with anyone who stands in their way to protect them.
With all the new additions to the Cullen family, the Volturi are concerned and have decided they want revenge.
