bella never got the chance to jump off the cliffs and edward never
resorted to going to italy to ask for death to be served to him. instead
alice, upon racing to forks to try and do what she could in the case of
bella's impending death, found her lying on the side of the road, bro-
ken and dying after an accident involving her motorcycle. unable to
let her friend die, alice bit bella and pulled back just short of killing
her in hopes of changing her. rushing her back to the cullen's home
in the forest, alice called for the help of her family while she waited
out bella's change. all of the cullen's, sans edward, had heeded her
call and returned. it's been a month since bella's change, edward is
heading home unaware of the change in bella's life, the la push pack
has enlisted the help of the makah pack in the impending fight with
the cullen's, and charlie has the entire washington police force out loo-
king for his daughter. with so many questions and impending battles,
who has time to consider the fact that the volturi are also about to make
an appearance for an unknown reason?
