Theadora left the crowded library with her books. She knew her destination to be the Group Commons. It might have been because almost no one was in there these days. With it being near the end of the year, most everyone was either hanging out with their own houses sporting their house pride. Or they were in the library studying. Some seventh years, unlike Dora DiNozzo, were hanging with their friends, enjoying the last days of seeing those friends on a regular basis. Dora thought for just a fleeting moment that she was headed to the room of house unity under some ill conceived notion that she was going to see her boyfriend there.
Oliver had been the only thing Dora could think about. She dreamed of him constantly. He held her close, whispered sweet words into her ear that no other man could say and mean with all of their heart. Theadora was proud to call herself Oliver Flamme's girlfriend. She loved the man with as much of her heart as she had. He owned her, no one would ever mean to her what he meant.
Dora opened the door to the Group Commons only to see a familiar head of black hair sitting with a girl. At first she wasn't concerned. But as the dark haired girl moved and kissed Oliver's throat Dora immediately hid behind a shelf of books that stuck out just enough to conceal her from view. Tears formed in the girl's eyes. She clapped her hand over her mouth to prevent being heard. She adored Oliver with all she had and here he was getting kissed by a girl. She didn't know what to do. Just as Dora thought she was calm enough, she removed her hand from her nose and mouth to breathe.
Perhaps it was Dora's confused brain, trying to make sense of the situation. She wanted to tell herself that it wasn't really Oliver. Maybe it was just someone who had the same hair style and color. But the few words she hear brought her back to tears. That was his voice. She'd heard it in her dreams, heard it every time she met up with her love. It was Oliver.
The girl was too hurt to hear Oliver deny the strange girl, just as she was calming herself enough to leave though she couldn't help but let out a hiccup from the lack of oxygen she was so vehemently refused by her own lungs. Her chest hurt, and not from the sharply contracting lungs placed there. Her heart felt like it was in two. Her hand went back over her mouth, hoping uselessly that she hadn't been heard. The girl still attempted to tell herself that it was a misunderstanding. Maybe it just looked like she kissed him.
