Welcome to Darkness Comes. We are a vampire Role Play based off of the amazing book, Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side, by Beth Fantaskey. If you've read the book, you'll notice that the site isn't strictly by the book, that's because we are taking place 50 years after the wedding of Antanasia and Lucius. THESITERULES

Listen to the admin and staff. We are doing what is best for the site and if you have a problem with that too bad. If you have a problem with the staff, PM myself and I’ll decide if your allegations are founded.
No fighting outside of character. If you have a problem with a member, PM myself or one of the staff.
No, let’s repeat that for those of you slower than my sister, NO chat lingo. In the out of character area and the chat box you can use it. But if I see it in the RP area and it’s within context it is an automatic deletion. Deal with it.
Don’t use glow text. That’s for the staff.
If the staff tell you to change something or do something, do it.
Don’t post in announcements unless there is a thread that says you can.
No advertising anywhere but the advertisements board. If someone asks you via PM for the link, fine. But don’t advertise it around.
Some areas have special mods. LISTEN TO THEM. If you fight with them and I hear about it, there is a 75% chance I’m gonna believe them.
Do not hound me to make you a mod. They are chosen out of trust. I’ll ban you out of pure annoyance very likely. The acceptation is if I ask for someone to step forward to be a mod.
If you want an account, fine. But don’t register it to spam or advertise. I will ban your ass to Kingdom Come. Understand.
I don’t want to hear someone complaining about someone swearing. You can do that. In my world, it’s perfectly legal.
I don’t wanna hear about someone complaining that two characters were getting it on in the [insert strange place here]. Yes, it's slightly strange that they're getting it on around [insert strange thing here], but to each his own. If you don't like what they're doing? Too bad. Don't read it.

Don’t insult me or my staff. I’ll ban you and all that is holy.
Obey my rules and we’ll be friends. Don’t and I’ll be forced to take action.
I ask that if you want to delete your account, please notify the admin beforehand. Make sure I know what you're doing first, before you delete yourself. (Do not send me a PM and delete yourself before you get a reply back.)

THERPRULES
No god modding. You wait for others to post and then you can. God modding is an automatic ban able offense.
Be active. Anyone gone for an extended amount of time will be deleted. If you’ll be gone for a while post a notice in the Absences.
If your character is deleted they are considered dead and gone. They cannot be remade and they cannot be played with another character. If your character was wrongly deleted, PM the admin or staff. If found founded and/or believable you will be allowed to make them again. However this is a one time thing and if deleted again you will not be able to make them.
If you have more than one character you cannot play one on another and you can only play one per post. If you don’t it’s lazy and annoying.
Posts MUST be at least two decent paragraphs. Yes, I know that many of you may get writer's block. But I ask that you at least try. This is an intermediate/advanced RP. Give the posters something to reply to. Quality over quantity. If I have to, I'll put in a character limit. Don't make me do that though, it makes me feel like the bad guy.

THEGRAPHICRULES
You can use celebrities for your characters. You can also use personal pics. But they MUST look alike. And be of the same person.
Graphics must not stretch the board. Avatars must be between 65x65 and 100x100. Signatures must be no wider than 500 pixels and no higher than 350 pixels.
Don’t use anime.

Those are the rules and keep in mind that we can do anything we see fit since we are the rulers of this site. Get it? Got it? Good.
